Meta says if its AI makes a mistake, it will legally be the customer's fault

So I guess if I'm a contractor and doing a job for Meta, not only can I completely fail and they still pay me but if I do something illegal it's on them for hiring me, right??
Yeah I don't know what the solution is but something is wrong here. Maybe refund mistakes or take responsibility.

    There's no paradox, there never were agents to begin with. Those are programs. It's same old software. If you sell me a software to do X and you fail to deliver, it's on you.

    Except that the users obstruct the programs and now it is really important to not leave them unattended for too long, apparently.

Not a legal expert, but that sounds like a trojan horse. Does this mean if a bad actor were to use Meta's model, that if they bypass the safegaurds that they get off scot-free?

Not to worry. The customer can shrug and say “rogue agents took unaligned actions”, and they too will be absolved of liability.
